Line Array
Line arrays have found their way to every stage in the world over the past decades. Not only festivals but also concert and theatre halls benefit from the advanced capabilities of line array systems
The single most important advantage of a line array system is the ease with which specific zones of a venue or location can be provided with optimal sound. This manifests itself, for example, in the greater distances that line arrays can cover, while at the same time presenting a well-dosed amount of sound pressure to audiences close to the stage.
Zones
Even more specifically, within a hall, zones can be served with optimal sound, while other zones, when there are not specifically listeners there, are assigned a much lower volume. This is possible because of the way the speaker components are placed in relation to each other. In doing so, they influence each other's direction and sound characteristics, providing an entire field or an entire hall with optimal sound experience.
Integration
When you choose integrated systems such as those from German quality brand Voice-Acoustic, for example, the placement and adjustment for both stationary speakers and mobile systems is a task that, in the vast majority of cases, can be done by a single technician, who does not have to do any tricky acoustic measuring work in the process.
