Loudspeaker units

Fixed part of a reinforcement system are loudspeakers. Once quality requirements are set, speaker components of different sizes are usually chosen, each capable of providing a specific frequency range.

There are also systems that use only one size of loudspeaker, fullrange loudspeakers, but when demands are made on sound level and sound quality, two-way or three-way systems are quickly preferred when designing. An exception to this are certain line array systems.. Read more
