The DAP IA-270 2x 70 W Amplifier is a compact and stylish audio power amplifier for fixed installations. It has an internal high-pass filter (100 Hz) that can be activated per channel by a switch on the back. The IA-270 has jack inputs as well as balanced terminal inputs that are looped through to terminal outputs. You can choose to forward the original audio signal or have the gain settings applied to it. You can use the amplifier as a stereo amp, but with the audio loop through you can also set it up as a dual mono amp. Thanks to its fanless convection cooling, the amp is completely silent in operation.
The extruded aluminium housing follows the design of existing DAP audio tools, albeit in a slightly larger footprint. The height of the unit is a mere single rack space (1 U). All controls are deliberately put on the back in order to prevent unintentional changing during daily operation. LEDs on the front indicate the status of the amplifier.
