DAP | Xi-28 MKII | Passive 2x 8" installation subwoofer

New: the Xi MKII series, a range of loudspeakers for fixed audio installations that is based on the Xi installation loudspeakers but with some significant changes. The biggest change is the use of a Celestion HF driver that has significantly improved the unit's sound performance. In addition, the enclosure and grille have been redesigned and given a modern and elegant look.

In addition to their look and sound quality, these speakers are distinguished by several mounting options: optional U-shaped brackets and threaded brackets for the use of fly-eyes and most wall brackets.

No internal adapter has been used and a recessed Speakon chassis rounds off the perfect design for an installation enclosure. The speakers are finished with scratch-resistant paint and a metal MagTag grille that can be removed quickly and easily without tools.

The Xi-5MKII and Xi-6MKII are 16-ohm for multi-speaker installations. The Xi-8MKII and XI-10MKII have rotatable horns, allowing them to be used in both horizontal and vertical positions. The powerful subwoofer has an ultra-compact design to fit any location, and the optional slim-line wall bracket allows the subwoofer to be mounted flat against a wall.

The Xi-MKII series complies with current standards and can be used in a variety of indoor venues such as restaurants, pubs, clubs, fitness centres, amusement parks, reception areas and anywhere else where excellent sound quality and a compact loudspeaker with a high pressure level is required. The Xi MKII series' enclosures are available in black and white.

The DAP Xi-28 MKII is a compact, lightweight 2x 8-inch subwoofer with a bass-reflex enclosure to create powerful and accurate bass reproduction. With a peak power output of 1600 watts (400 W RMS), high sound pressure levels can be created. The Xi-28 is designed to be used in combination with the Xi-series top cabinets for a full fullrange sound.

The Xi-28 MKII has a modern design and can be placed flat against the wall using special brackets. This makes it very suitable for situations where the available space is limited. In addition, you can choose between a black and white model. As a result, it fits in any environment.

The sub can be connected via a recessed 4-pin speaker connector to a 4-Ohm audio infrastructure. Only 2 pins are used in passive filtering due to the internal filter.
