Focusrite | 496860 | Rednet MP8R | 8-channel remote-controllable mic preamp with dual power supply
RedNet MP8R is a 1U, eight-channel remote-controllable mic pre- and AD interface for any Dante™ audio-over-IP network. With network and power supply redundancy, RedNet MP8R is the ideal choice for delivering microphone preamps in many critical-sigal path applications, whether in post-production, broadcast, live sound or recording studios.
Remote controllable mic preamps
RedNet MP8R was designed in direct response to requests from customers in live sound and broadcast looking for high-quality remote-controllable mic preamps coupled with high-quality AD conversion. The result is a preamp with high dynamic range, flat frequency response and excellent common-mode gain performance.
Microphone splitter
The unique automatic gain compensation feature allows a variety of flexible workflows; each microphone preamp feeds a pair of network transmitters: - one fed directly by the microphone preamp, the other by auto-compensated DSP - making microphone preamp sharing very easy. Level indication on the front panel is provided via 6-segment LED meters, while an oled indicates input gain and other system information.
