Segula is a German brand that originated in 2009. In more than 10 years, it has grown tremendously. We take you on a journey through time and look at the key milestones!

2009

The first introduction of SMD chips on a circuit board became a reality. This provided an improved beam angle, and the following year Segula introduced spherical LED lamps to the market.

2011

The first dimmable LED lighting with 1055 lumens made its appearance.

2013

The beautiful Ambient LED bulbs with a warm colour of 2,200 Kelvin enriched the range from the year 2013 and the year after that the Led filament technology in the form of incandescent bulbs was also introduced.

2015

Then again in 2015 there was the complete switch from SMD to filament technology and a 90% increase in CRI.

2016

2016 was the year of the beautiful Smokey and Golden Line, the introduction of Ambient Dimming technology and the S14 line lighting

2017

2017 marked the birth of the beautiful Design line with its flexible LED filaments for Segula. There was also the introduction of the Big Bulbs with an E40 fitting and the emergence of the Art line and the High Brightness range.

2018

In 2018, special beer lamps and flower vase lamps graced the range and came an increase in CRI to 95.

2019

2019 marked the addition of the Successive and Ambient Dimming in a flexible LED wire.

As you can see, a lot has happened in a short time. And Segula doesn't stand still. So chances are you will soon be able to enjoy even more special LED lights that brighten up your interiors!

Ambient and Ambient Dimming line

Both the Ambient and the Ambient Dimming line are characterised by beautiful LED lamps with a classic design and warm light colour. The difference between the two is that in the Ambient Dimming line you will find LED lamps that feature a unique dimming technology. This technology ensures that the light temperature becomes warmer as the light intensity decreases.

Art line

The Art line lamps are a good option if you like economical LED lamps with a special design. Ideal to use for decorative purposes!

Basic line

In the Basic line you will find basic LED lamps that fit nicely into any interior. They also have an E27 fitting and are therefore combinable with a wide range of luminaires.

Bright line

The Bright line LED lamps are mainly characterised by their brightness. They are available in lots of different colours, sizes, fittings and shapes, providing an option for every room.

Design line

If you like LED lamps with a special lamp shape, the Design line lamps are for you. You'll find them in fun designs, including the bottle led lamps. It goes without saying, then, that these are excellent eye-catchers for your home or business.

Floating line
