The Modular series is extremely flexible and innovative with its combination of array-point-source systems and multi-functional, individual loudspeakers. Besides being used as a stand-alone full-range loudspeaker, as a powerful top with bass support and a powerful monitor on stage, the Modular series is also designed to be used side by side in a horizontal array.

Any interference and associated sound discontinuities between sound sources are minimised by the special enclosure geometry, while the rotatable horn allows you to choose the appropriate dispersion. The horn then operates only in the fixed desired direction. This technique offers the user an even wider range of applications with just one loudspeaker model and is registered with the patent office.

Fly

'Easyfly', (also registered with the patent office), is a new 'one-click' mechanism that allows material to be freely suspended and accurately aligned within seconds. The mechanism is more elegant and smaller than a conventional bracket. The Modular series features unobtrusive mounting rails on two sides of the enclosure. This means the loudspeaker can be hung upright or horizontally or flown using the 'Easyfly' mechanism. At the back is a third mounting rail for the mandatory safety cable.For precise alignment on a stand or intermediate pole, the Modular series has an internal, tiltable pole connection and +/- 18° adjustment of the tilt angle.

High sound pressure

The Modular-15 features a latest-generation 15-inch chassis and is specifically designed for clean, detailed mid at high and undistorted sound pressure levels. A remarkably low moving mass (mms 100gr) combined with an extremely powerful neodymium driver (B/L factor 26) provides the interplay of the excellent transmission of a 12-inch model with the large diaphragm area and corresponding sound pressure of a 15-inch. The chassis can be driven to a maximum, while heat is optimally dissipated, keeping power compression low. The magnet system has vents. The aluminium demodulation rings in the magnet system guarantee low distortion.

For installation, the Modular-15 comes with the "Easyfly" mechanism, swivel wall brackets or M10 threaded rigging points.

By the way, the Modular-15 can be factory converted to a self-powered version using a power amplifier module and a DSP board.

Spread

For maximum flexibility, the user can choose between two different spread angles: 60° x 40° or 90° x 60°. An exchange of horns can be done by yourself at any time. In the HDSP amplifier series DSP, the specific loudspeaker settings are stored as settings for both spread angles.

Control

The woofer has an impedance of 8Ω, the compression driver has an imedance of 16Ω. Two Modular-15s can be looped through with a 4-wire cable. and driven by the same amplifier channels. An HDSP-6 6-channel power amplifier can accommodate up to four Modular-15 bi-amp connections.
