The Paveosub-115 is a very compact bass-reflex subwoofer for universal applications.

With a low overall height of only 36 cm and a width and depth of only 54 x 57 cm, the bass is ideal for fixed installations where a discreet appearance is important and the speakers should be integrated as unobtrusively as possible into the architecture.

In mobile use, the bass saves a lot of space and weight with only 110 litres of transport volume.

The two large handles are touchable from all sides and are located in the centre of gravity.

For easy handling of the subwoofer, which weighs only 27 kg, a removable and stackable wheel board is optionally available. The transport cover is also optional and also serves as weather protection for outdoor events.

The Paveosub-115 uses a newly developed neodymium chassis with a 4-inch voice coil that can withstand a load of 1200 W AES. The magnet system has three demodulation rings for particularly low distortion. Solid cooling fins ensure low-power compression at maximum performance. Together with a high linear stroke and a low moving mass, the subwoofer offers deep, powerful yet highly accurate bass reproduction.

Internal struts ensure maximum stability and prevent unwanted enclosure resonances.

Connections

The Paveosub-115 can be connected from the front via two Speakon connectors built into the front grille. This is useful, for example, when the subwoofer is under a stage or used in cardioid applications. To protect against dirt and moisture, the sockets are covered with rubber caps.

The subwoofer can be used both horizontally and upright. On two sides, there are stacking troughs, rubber feet and M20 flanges for flexible use with a nice look, depending on the combined top. Standing upright, the Paveosub forms a very slender silhouette.

The stacking troughs on the top of the bass are arranged in the same size as the CXN-16 stage monitor. Moreover, both speakers have a width of 54 cm, which also forms an elegant optical unit and makes them a professional set for drum or DJ monitoring, for example. A CXN-16 bi-amping can be powered in half-powered mode from a self-powered Paveosub-115sp, with 3-channel 4 kW power amplifier module and DSP board.

Amplifiers

The Paveosub-115 is operated on one channel (2,400 W / 4 Ω) of an HDSP amplifier. The woofer is designed in 8 .

The HDSP amplifiers include preset settings for combination with Voice-Acoustic tops.

Two Paveosub-115s can be looped through and operated in parallel on one amplifier channel. Up to four Paveosub-115s can be connected to an HDSP-6.
