The light source of the Varyscan P4 moving head is a 280-watt gas discharge lamp that produces breathtakingly concentrated light. Therefore, despite its low wattage, it is extremely impressive even at long distances.

The optical system has a special lens that distributes the light beam uniformly over the entire area during projection, allowing both bright and homogeneous projections. The effect unit is equipped with two gobo wheels, two prisms, zoom and focus, frost, shutter and dimmer, 10 colours, CTO and CTB filters, a UV effect and extremely fast and precise pan and tilt movements. The P4 operates slide-in modules, making maintenance work and gobo replacement quick and easy. It comes with JB-Lighting's on-board radio DMX system, allowing a perfect, wireless combination with JB-Lighting's latest moving lights.

BRILLIANT COLOURS

The P4 has a colour wheel with 10 brilliant colours and linear colour selection. This also offers a rainbow effect. Also available are a CTB and CTO filter and a UV filter for blacklight application.

GOBOs

The P4 features 2 gobo wheels, with 10 fixed gobos and 4 beam reducers and the second with 9 rotating, variably positionable and interchangeable gobos and is thus optimally equipped for beam and spotlight shows.

SLIDE-IN MODULE

Maintenance work, cleaning and gobo replacement can be carried out quickly and easily thanks to a slide-in module that can be removed without tools or manual cable disconnection.

VARIABLE BEAM CHARACTERISTICS

The P4 offers two different optical components for different beam characteristics. A diffusion filter makes the light output completely uniform and enables uniform beams and projections. In addition, a specially designed lens doubles the light output compared to a diffusion filter, with only very small unevenness.

PRISMAS

The P4 offers 2 different prisms that perfectly match the 2 gobo wheels. The prisms are indexable and ideal for projection or beam shows.

ZOOM, FOCUS AND FROST FILTER

The P4 has a zoom range of 2.3° to 9.5° in beam mode and 5° to 21.6° in spot mode; with focus, of course. The frost effect is variably adjustable from 0% to 100%.
