Voice-Acoustic 2-channel HDSP-0.2DDA: Dante, Digital AES/EBU/AES67 and Analogue
Voice-Acoustic's HDSP-0.2DDA is a 4-channel dual-technology DSP amplifier with 1600W output power at 4 Ω. DDA stands for a new generation of DSPs and input boards that can handle a variety of signals: DANTE, digital AES / EBU, AES67 and analogue inputs. The signals can be further looped through.
The HDSP amplifier series is designed to meet the highest demands, both in terms of audio quality and operational reliability. With its large number of output channels, the HDSP series makes it possible for the first time to operate actively separated and individually filtered bi- and tri-amping loudspeaker systems economically. Intelligent wide-range switching power supplies and automatic voltage adjustment enable use around the world.
Speaker management
The integrated speaker management systems (DSP) work with a sampling frequency of 64 bit / 96 kHz in audiophile sound quality. Premium converters offer a dynamic range of 120 dB and handle input levels up to + 23 dBu. In addition to factory-made speaker settings in the output channels, 10 parametric filters (bell, high shelf, low shelf, notch, allpass), compressors, flexible routing, a long delay section for delays up to 275 metres and input limiters are available to the user in each input channel. When using the amp with speakers from other manufacturers, there is plenty of free memory space to programme your own presets.
Network
All functions can be controlled and set manually or comfortably with the VA-WLAN Remote software for PC and Mac. This allows networking, group formation, control and monitoring of up to 128 HDSP amplifiers or self-powered speakers in one network. Linking is IP-based and fully automatic. The connection works bi-directionally in real time and provides various feedback on the status of the system (headroom, temperature, impedance measurement).
A major advantage of the HDSP power amplifiers is the modular system design. Multiple, highly effective class-D modules of the latest generation, each with its own power supply unit and separate DSP boards, provide redundancy and guarantee maximum operational reliability. Thanks to this maintenance-friendly design, components can be replaced quickly and easily in just a few minutes by a qualified electrician. Unlike conventional multi-channel power amplifiers, which only need to draw their power from a power supply, the modular design of the HDSP amplifiers guarantees maximum performance and plenty of headroom, even in the deep bass range, without mutual interference between the channels.
The electronics are built in upside down in the road-ready 19-inch aluminium enclosure. Dust falls down to the bottom of the enclosure and does not settle on the circuit boards.
