The DAP Odin Line Array Series is a versatile sound system suitable for high-energy indoor and outdoor events for up to 2500 visitors. It is a scalable and rental-friendly solution for both stackable and suspended setups, suitable for almost any venue of any size. Odin systems have a robust design and can deliver incredible sound quality at an unprecedented low price. With DAP Odin, DJs, bands, actors and other performers can quickly and easily create deep, punchy bass, subtle instrument details and true vocal emotions.
The Odin Passive Series consists of a passive line array satellite and a passive 18” subwoofer, equipped with robust and powerful Celestion drivers to ensure excellent sound quality in any location and setup. Multiple stacking and hanging solutions are available with dedicated fly bars, stack bars, pole mount adapters and fly towers. Safe transportation/storage is also ensured with dedicated flight cases, transport covers and castor boards. IP covers protect your speakers from heavy rain, making them a reliable and trustworthy companion in all conditions.
The DAP Odin T-8 is a versatile 800-watt Passive Line Array Satellite Speaker, suitable for small to large crowds. It is stackable up to 4 units and can be flown to up to 12 units. The variety of stack and fly options allows you to set the correct sound dispersion for every application and location.
The Odin T-8 has two 8” Celestion Neodymium MID Woofers and two 1” Celestion Neodymium compression drivers, producing up to a staggering 129 dB SPL at 1 meter distance. It has an internal crossover frequency of 1800 Hz and can be bi-amped. A switch allows for a 3-dB boost of the high frequencies. It will work perfectly in combination with the S-18 passive subwoofer and the active S-18A subwoofer and S-218A ultra subwoofer. A specially designed waveguide and phase plug optimise the dispersion and frequency curve to ensure that the T-8 delivers under any circumstance and in any setup.
The hardware for flying the system allows for a single person to build and take down a full Odin Line Array set in no time. In addition, it is a very modular system, so you can place a DAP Odin Line-Array installation at any location. Several accessories are available for stacking, flying, or using a sub/top combination as a satellite setup. For example, consider the 35 mm pole mount adapter, stack frame and fly bar, where the vertical array angle of satellite speakers can be adjusted in 6 steps, from a 0° to 7.5° angle.
