The Voice-Acoustic CXN-12 is a powerful, passive 2-way floor monitor equipped with a coaxial 12"/1.4" neodymium chassis with 80° conical projection. With its compact and beautifully rounded, unobtrusive enclosure, the CXN is ideal for live use and for demanding applications in TV and gala productions. Its small base dimensions mean it takes up little space on stage.

Transparent monitor sound

High sound quality and neutral tuning guarantee first-class transparency, sound pressure and feedback reduction. Musicians receive accurate feedback with an undistorted soundstage. A strong, warm and accurate fundamental and distortion-free treble create a familiar feeling on stage for making music with confidence. The CXN-12 coaxial is highly responsive to EQ, allowing a sound engineer to easily adjust voices and instruments in the individual monitor mix.

Lightweight floor monitor

At just 37cm wide and just 30cm high, the CXN-12 is the smallest floor monitor in the 12" class. Weighing only 14kg, it is also the lightest. Thanks to its low weight and the central handle in the bottom of the enclosure, the speaker is also comfortable to carry with one hand. The side handles, located in the centre of gravity, increase ergonomics in heavy touring use. The honeycomb-perforated grille is robust thanks to a wide side support surface and a reinforcing curvature and a material thickness of 2mm.

Moisture-resistant floor monitor

The connection panel is recessed and slopes downwards. The SpeakON connectors cannot be accidentally walked out and are optically inconspicuous. Rain drips over the edge of the enclosure, protecting the connectors. The CXN-12's large bass reflex ports are not located in the baffle, but on the sloping side parallel to the floor towards the stage. This design increases efficiency and moisture cannot pass through the baffle into the interior of the enclosure.

Drum monitor

The CXN-12's rubber feet fit into the stack slots of an upright Paveosub-115 and are ideal monitoring for a drummer sitting on a drum riser. An attachment point for a safety and integrated flyware for the popular Easyfly flying mechanism, as well as an optional U-bracket, enable a wide range of applications.

Birch plywood

As with all Voice Acoustic speakers, the enclosure is made of sturdy birch plywood of the highest quality: CNC milled, slotted, screwed and watertight glued. The surface is protected by a robust and moisture-resistant polyurea coating in black. There is an optional white version and special colours with 2K textured paint.

Control

The CXN-12 is a passive bass-reflex loudspeaker with an impedance of 8Ω. The internal crossover is used only to separate the 2-way. Linearisation is done using DSP filters. It is driven by one channel of the Voice-Acoustic HDSP system amplifier, stand-alone subwoofer or the VADAS system amplifier.
