The HDSP-6A is a 6-channel DSP amplifier with dual technology and has an output power of 8,000W into 4Ω.

The Voice-Acoustic HDSP series amplifier was developed with the highest audio quality and reliability requirements in mind. The large number of output channels has made it possible for the first time to affordably filter separately for bi- and tri-amping. The intelligent switched-mode power supply automatically detects AC input values, allowing the system to be used anywhere in the world.

Speaker management

The integrated speaker management systems (DSP - digital signal processor) work with a 64 bit / 96 kHz sampling frequency with audiophile sound quality. High-quality converters offer a dynamic range of 120dB and can handle an input level of up to +23 dBu. This series of amplifiers features speaker presets, limiter and compensation delays for the output channels. In addition, each input channel features 10 parametric filters (Bell, High Shelf, Low Shelf, Notch, Allpass), compressors, flexible routing, phase settings, a long delay section for delays up to 275 metres and an input limiter. The series is also equipped with memory slots to add your own presets for using speakers from other manufacturers. The amplifiers are also available without factory Voice-Acoustic presets.

Feedback

The front LCD allows manual control of all functions via a digital encoder and buttons. Our Voice-Acoustic's external VA-WLAN software for PC, Mac or app provides even easier access to these controls. This software allows linking, remote control and monitoring of up to 128 individual HDSP amplifier units or self-powered loudspeakers in one common network. Linking is fully automatic via the IP address. The connection works bi-directionally in real time and provides comprehensive system feedback (headroom, temperature and detected impedance).

Modular amplifier system

A major advantage of Voice-Acoustic amplifiers is their modular design. Multiple, highly effective state-of-the-art Class-D modules are equipped with separate power supplies and separate DSP boards to ensure redundancy and operational safety. This easy-to-maintain modular design allows for easy and quick exchange of components by any technician. Compared to conventional multichannel power amplifiers, which are fed by a single power supply, the modular construction of the HDSP amplifier guarantees maximum performance and plenty of headroom - even at deep lows without affecting the other channels.

Upside down

The electronics are mounted upside down in the super-strong 19" aluminium enclosure. All dust particles end up on the bottom of the enclosure and not on the platinum components. All 2U amplifiers have an identical enclosure and rear panel.
