Line array technology in column format

Voice-Acoustic, brings line array technology to a compact column format with the VENIA series. The series consists of two full-range models: the passive VENIA-6 (4x 6.5" and 3x 1") and the bi-amped high-performance column array VENIA-8 (4x 8" and 4x 1") with an impressive 140dB sound pressure at a weight of only 35kg.

Asymmetrical coverage

The high-drivers are each coupled to a line array waveguide and produce a dispersion angle of 100° horizontally and 0°/-20° vertically via a large horn. The HF section of the VENIA series offers vertically asymmetric coverage with a flat wavefront. The principle of larger line arrays was transferred to the VENIA loudspeakers in a compact column format: the high-frequency energy is bundled to cover longer distances and the near-field is covered by a curvature with a lower energy content distributed over a larger area. The result is a very balanced sound level across the entire listening room with a very homogeneous sound distribution.

Dante, AES/EBU and AES67

Both models are also available in a self-powered version as VENIA-6DDA and VENIA-8DDA respectively. These have
inputs and outputs implemented as analogue, DANTE, AES/EBU, AES67 and a network switch for integration into the Voice-Acoustic Remote Control software.
